This report provides prescribers with data about the patients they have prescribed for and in their practice who are taking PPIs* to facilitate reflection on whether prescribing is appropriate in terms of the number of patients using these medicines, the duration of use and dose.
*Unless otherwise stated, the data presented is for omeprazole, pantoprazole and lansoprazole combined
